The Seaforth Highlanders Notts Branch proudly host their 58th Annual Dinner – a private evening of tradition, celebration, and camaraderie. Guests will enjoy a three‑course meal, live entertainment from the Pipes and Drums, awards presentations, and a lively disco with DJ. With a distinguished guest of honour and a smart dress code, this special occasion continues our proud heritage of music, fellowship, and military tradition in Nottinghamshire. A new event for us, Wirksworth Well Dressings and Carnival. We are pleased to be invited along to this event. We have yet to sort out the details, but I will update as the time gets nearer.

Wirksworth is located on the B5023 from Duffield (on the A6) and the B5036 from Cromford (also on the A6).

We are so pleased to have been invited back to take part the Parwich Village event. There are a number of short parades around the village with several stops for refreshment and entertainment. We start at the sycamore Pub at 930am and conclude at the Legion with a little formality at 115pm. There will be a 30 min church service somewhere in the middle.

It is always a pleasure to play for the Royal British Legion Worksop, and again we have been invited to play at their Armed Forces Weekend. We will be there on the Sunday.

There will be an act of remembrance at 11 am. The band then have two performances. Firstly, around 12:00 midday for 20 minutes, and the same again later in the afternoon.

Fantastic news, we have again been invited to take part in the Marehay Show. it all starts at Mid Day with a short parade and performance in the arena. Then later on we will perform  a second time. We will play a selection of traditional and modern tunes.

The Event is at Marehay Park, Derby Road / Warmwells Lane DE5 8JE

We have been invited back to perform for you at  the Collingham Show. 

It is a fantastic 3 day event and a great day out.

Along with Lily Taylor-Ward, the Blidworth welfare Band and a host of other performers we will perform at the North Notts Community Arena, Eastgate, Worksop S80 1QS, In the festival of Remembrance.

We have been invited to take part in the 2026 poppy appeal launch at 

Giltbrook Shopping Park, Ikea Way, Giltbrook, Nottingham, NG16 2RP.

There will be bagpipes and an act of remembrance.

Something new to us and new to the county. The Nottinghamshire County Royal British Legion are organising a very large event of Remembrance. It is very early days yet but we are delighted at being asked to take part.

Further details will be provided as soon as they are known.

We are delighted to have again been ask to take part in the Mansfield Remembrance Parade.

The parade takes place at The Civic Center Mansfield and starts at 10am. A service is held at St.Peters church. 

We have been invited to perform for a Burns night at the Pleasley Miners Welfare though the time is to be confirmed, we are very excited to have the opportunity to perform and will be providing a bit of a show with it being a full band event (for a Burns night, I know right?!), so stay tuned, you won’t want to miss this.
