  1. Marehay 2019

Look foreward to this event every year, such friendly people and I get to meet some parrots.

Its a small event but so much fun and a pleasure to be part of.

This year was fantastic. exhausted after the long parade to open the event (400m if that) we played in the arena (picture above) for 20 minutes and again later.

Burgers, beer and Bagpipes what more could one want.

Thank you to all of the band that were able to turn out and thank you good people of Marehay for making us feel so welcome again.

  2. Newton 2019

"All aboard"  for the Journey to to start of Newton Carnival. Long march ahead of us thats why we are all smiling. However with the help of a couple of stops (planned)  one being at the George & Dragon and the support of the community we were still smiling at the end.

Great Parade well done to all band members. Thank you Newton for your support.

  3. We were delighted to be present at The Southwell Minster for the Annual Service of Re-Dedication for Nottinghamshire Royal British Legion. on Sunday 2nd June

  4. P4130026

136 guests seated at the John Fretwell Center for our 53rd Annual Dinner.

The feedback for this event has been fantastic. I dont really know where to start. Great guests and friends, great food, great venue and staff.

The band performance was nothing short of amazing. The disco was brill. The drum fanfare was superb.

Welcome to the band Haydn and Antony, there first performance and a great credit to the band.

Without making an exhaustive list, thank you to all whom played thier part to make such a great event.

Thank you to all our friends and guests, without whom the event could not be such a success. Hope to see you all again next year.

Kindest regards Pipe Major Bob Orridge

What a real honour to lead the Remembrance Parade at Mansfield on this the 100th anniversary since the guns fell silent.

Words can not describe the emotions of marching into Mansfield Town Center to see the enormous crowds lining the streets all the way down to Church.

I was so proud after the event to receive so many compliments about the band overall and our Bass drummer in particular, Jake Partridge, who kept a solid beat all the way there and back. The parade was rather a long one and they could hear the beat all the way at the back.

Congratulations to Sarah Thompson our new Piper on her first outing, kept in step and never played a wrong note.

Well done to all who took part in the parade, hope to see you all again next year?

  6. North Notts Community Arena was the venue for the Worksop British Legion Festival of Remembrance.

A Fantastic event to be part of, very well attended. We took part in the opening and played to open the second half.

We had the pleasure of building the drum head for the drum head service, which went so well.

  7.  There are only two pictures in this slide show, both entitled "Seaforth at play".

Fantastic day at Marehay, Sun shining, saved seats in the beer tent. Met up with friends old and new. Supported the Mayor opening the event. played later in the arena to entertain the Village. What more could you ask for.

Invited to enter the "tug O war" against the village team, it did not go well we came second ha ha
