Seaforth Highlander 52^nd Annual Dinner. 

This event was a huge success, thanks to all our guests, the John Fretwell staff, the band and especially those who help us set up

Special thanks to the executive Mayor Kate Allsop as our principal guest for the evening.

Thanks also to Ian Collins for your help in presenting the awards.

The list of thank you could go on a page or two but I am not known for being verbose.

The Band says massive congratulations to Mrs Cath Gullen MBE.

I cannot say how proud of you we are. You are an amazing woman.

A well-deserved medal for all your hard work and dedication

I am sad to announce the retirements of both these true gentlemen.

Cpl. Bert McLucas and Piper Richard Fernie Galloway.

I would not embarrass then by telling you there combine service but it’s a long time.

We all at the Band wish you a very long and happy retirement. Don’t forget the Tea and coffee is still free see you soon. Missing you both already

What a day out at Matlock. 

The market was on over the weekend but we only went over for the sunday. The place was packed with people and things to see, do and buy. 

There was a great deal of christmas spirit around which made for a really happy and fun day. It was so good to attract large appreciative crowds every time we played. They even sung carols with us.

Thank you to BhangraBlaze and SteelGen. BhangraBlaze because they danced bhangra to scotland the brave and to SteelGen (Steel band) for playing amazin grace with us. You both added so much fun to our day.

"A very cold day to remember"

I am sure this parade gets bigger every year. Thank you to all who were able to turn out.

Fantastic day in the sunshine at Marehay. Drummers already for the next performance. Welcome to the Clan Marcus our new tennor drummer.

Great organised show. pleasure to be part of. You should go next year and check out the fruit and veg competition, I have never seen onions that size !

Superb day out at East Bridgford as ever. Never fails to bring in the crowds, well organised. makes playing there a pleasure.

And now about us, ha ha. well done all great playing
